Wasted time
I went into book an appointment with Sophie at the Benefit franchise in Boots Bexleyheath, she did the skin test and booked me in to have my eyebrows done two weeks later on 30th. I received a confirmation email, later that afternoon. On 29th I received a reminder of the appointment. I arrived on time for my appointment only to be told that it was Sophie’s day off. I showed her colleagues the emails I’d received from Benefit, one colleague contacted her and she told she emailed a a cancellation, which I was able to show had never been received by me. They asked if I could come back another time, but I wanted this specifically down and I had other arrangements made. Boots staff were as helpful as it was possible to be in the circumstances but Benefit were a waste of time. I have messaged them but had no response and still no email!

Used to be my favourite make up brand……
Used to be my favourite make up brand… ever since it started up. Now they have bought into Woke culture and are using men (identifying as something or other but not men) to promote the products I’m done with them - I don’t need a man to tell me how to apply make up and don’t appreciate any company that buys into this anti-feminist regressive thinking. What next - men advertising tampons?

I love how natural their make up looks on my skin. I use this everyday and I feel safe with its ingredients because I never had any irritation. Big fan here.

would not recommend
Purchased some items for a birthday present, paid for a 2-3 delivery. its 8 working days later and they still haven't arrived.
By this point I've already had to buy another present - waste of time, wouldn't recommend

I bought 2 x gift sets before Christmas…
I bought 2 x gift sets before Christmas because the image showed a full size hoola make up as part of the set. When they arrived they were minis so I contacted them and returned the products. I am still waiting for a refund after nearly 3 weeks. Customer services aren't helping at all. Asking questions that they already have the answers to.

lovely advent calendar
buy their advent calendar every year, its really lovely and I love their mascara
Best brows in the game!
I own many products from Benefit including almost all of their brow products, all of their concealers and a mini eyeshadow palette and Roller Lash Mascara. I always come back to Benefit's brow products the most out of anything. Their pencils, volumising gel and clear brow setters are my favourites. They make brows look NATURALLY beautiful. Their concealers are also pretty good but I would recommend the brightening concealer the most - it was the only one that didn't make me break out after use. I wouldn't recommend eyeshadow from Benefit as you could get a much better one from another cosmetics brand such as Too Faced or Morphe, but their mascaras are pretty decent. For someone who has non-existent Asian eyelashes, the Roller Lash Mascara did quite a lot for me.

Benefit Counter at Morleys Bexleyheath
I bought a Benefit concealer at Morleys in Bexleyheath today and was served by Daniela.
She was very helpful and knowledgeable about the brand and took time to explain products...a very positive experience.

Took WAY too long to ship and arrive
This review is for the main benefit site. The biggest annoyance was the shipping time. It took forever to ship and by the time they used the slowest mailing service (smart post) it took almost 3 weeks to arrive. The customer service lady constantly talked over me when I tried to inquire about my package. When it arrived, it didn't even come in a box. It came in a bubble mailer with light padding despite there being blushes and other sensitive items.
The products sometimes are hit and miss. Certain blushes barely have pigmentation, for $30, there should be no reason why it doesn't have as much pigment as drugstore brands even!!! Overall, I don't recommend buying on the main site unless there's a sale. Buy from Ulta or other stores they sell Benefit at.

Out of date product sold full price
Bought an eyebrow pencil as a gift for friend. I know its a good product so I was happy withy boots at Waterloo purchase. When I gave it to her it was so old it looked like I was giving her junk! So upsetting! On the plus side the assistant Zoe was just lovely. But its not worked out at all and I am embarrassed.
